What do you get when you cross Girls on Fire with some of Australia’s most warm, welcoming and enthusiastic television presenters? An episode of the Living Room!
Yes folks, we’re pleased to announce that we’re joining the Living Room for an amazing special segment highlighting our Girls on Fire camps.
If you are not familiar with the program, The Living Room is an award winning lifestyle program featuring comedian and presenter Amanda Keller, Dr Chris Brown, Chef Miguel Maestre and reno king Barry Du Bois.
The unique format for this year sees them on a mission: “Each episode will feature everyday Australians who could benefit from a little TLC. That’s where our friendly hosts step in. Amanda, Chris, Barry and Miguel will help guide, educate and enlighten these Aussie’s on food, renovation, lifestyle and everything in between.”
That’s one we wholeheartedly endorse in this tough Covid-19 impacted year.
It’s an absolute privilege and honour to be included on this Channel Ten favourite.
We’re super excited to talk about Girls on Fire and share what we can all do as a community to make strong, resilient girls and safer communities through Australian produced fire camps.
We air THIS FRIDAY at 7:30pm AEST. Or you can catch up the repeat on Ten Play via your favourite streaming device.

Girls on Fire will put a spark in the hearts of girls in Ballarat Victoria. As we switch from the land of the long white cloud in Rotorua New Zealand to the bent elbow or resting place of country Victoria, we reflect on why we get up in the morning to do what we do. And why we want every girl out there to consider joining us for a day (or in Ballarat’s case, two!) to experience Girls on Fire.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. Girls on Fire pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
