Want to give back to the next generation of Girls on Fire camp graduates?

Then we’ve got the perfect program for you!

We’re actively recruiting for past fire camp graduates of the Girls on Fire camp programs
to return as volunteers for our single day and residential camp programs. 

You can choose to volunteer as a once off or join the Girls on Fire team on a regular basis. 

What sorts of tasks will you do? 

• Helping to keep camp running on an administration, cleanliness and participation level 
• Assisting with the running of exercises, simulations and drills 
• Promoting respect, safety, inclusion and teamwork among campers 
• Speaking about your personal experiences at Girls on Fire camps 

Girls on Fire Ambassadors 

We’re now seeking interest in the first ever Girls on Fire Ambassadors! This network of previous fire camp graduates and volunteers is charged with spreading the message of inclusion, resilience and community engagement Girls on Fire is famous for. We’re looking for previous fire camp graduates from our programs or similar programs overseas to share their passion for all things fire, emergency and disaster preparedness, prevention and relief related.    

What sorts of tasks will you do? 

• Addressing classrooms and school assemblies in person and online as a Girls on Fire camp graduate 
• Creating presentations and/or speeches based on your time with Girls on Fire 
• Attend community and corporate events as a previous student and current Ambassador to our programs 

Please note: If successful, all Ambassadors will be required to submit a copy of a current Working with Children/vulnerable persons Check and a current National Criminal History check as per the Child Protection Act in each state and territory.
