Girls on Fire is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and trauma-informed environment for all participants. All programs are delivered by trained facilitators and mentors, with robust child safety, risk management and wellbeing protocols in place. We work closely with Youth Justice, carers and partner agencies to ensure participant safety, dignity and support at every stage of the program.
1-Day Girls Fire & Resilience Program

Develops life skills and community connections that build confidence, networks and knowledge, helping youth navigate life challenges.

NAB 2-Day Girls Fire & Leadership Program
A two-day immersive program combining Frontline Futures mentoring and leadership development with the Girls Fire & Resilience camp. It brings emerging emergency service leaders and young women together in a shared, real-world learning environment.
Emerging leaders in Fire and Emergency Services developing mentoring and leadership capability, and young women aged 14ā19 exploring volunteering and career pathways in the sector.
Builds the collective leadership capacity in the Fire & Emergency Services sector by upskilling and inspiring emerging leaders and providing them with a supportive training environment to practice their mentoring and leadership skills. The youth participants also grow through the experiences of their mentors and the activities they lead.

Frontline Futures is a mentoring and leadership development program designed to train the next generation of youth mentors and community leaders.
Young adults and emerging leaders from the Fire and Emergency Services sector who want to develop mentoring, leadership and youth engagement skills.
Strong communities rely on capable mentors. This program builds sustainable mentoring capacity by equipping people with the skills, confidence and support to lead others well. Itās a safe & inspiring training environment to practice leadership skills and build transferable confidence.
The program uses established mentoring frameworks, trauma-informed practice and applied professional development to build real-world capability.

Juvenile Justice Programs
A hands-on, interactive program that uses emergency servicesāinspired activities to build confidence, capability and positive identity for young people involved in, or at risk of, the juvenile justice system.
Young people who are at risk of, or currently engaged with, the juvenile justice system and seeking constructive pathways, purpose and connection.
Young people involved in the justice system are often disconnected from positive role models and future pathways. This program builds self-belief, responsibility and hope through real-world challenges and supportive adult leadership.
The program combines trauma-informed mentoring, experiential learning and scenario-based activities that develop decision-making, teamwork and emotional regulation.
Supports rehabilitation goals, strengthens pro-social behaviour, and creates pathways into education, volunteering or community participation while building trust between young people and services.
