We’ve been invited to take part in the Global Youth BOSAI Summit 2025 in Osaka, Japan — and we’re looking for one former Girls on Fire camper and their parent or guardian to come with us!
The Summit brings together young people from around the world to share how they’re building safer, more resilient communities. The Aussie delegate will stand alongside others from Japan, Türkiye, and Taiwan — and help put Girls on Fire on the global map.
You’ll:
Travel to Japan (flights and accommodation covered)
Join a full-day program at the Expo 2025 on May 17th 2025
Share your Girls on Fire story on stage
Meet other young people passionate about disaster preparedness
Help build an international BOSAI (disaster resilience) map!
It’s a chance to use your voice, represent your community, and be part of something incredible.

It doesn't matter when or what camp you attended, you can enter! We’re using a quick chat-based survey to collect stories from past campers about you liked, learned, and experienced at your Girls on Fire camp!
Even if you’re not selected to go, your story still matters. We're looking for past camp participants who want to:
Stay involved with Girls on Fire in other ways
Volunteer at future camps
Learn more about disaster resilience and leadership
We know our campers grow into powerful leaders. Help us show the world what Girls on Fire can do — and shape what we do next.
